What is VPN or Virtual Private Network?
After reading an
interesting Seminar Document though it was old but can explain a layman or a
newbie that what a Virtual Private Network is? To understand VPN
completely lets analyze each word individually that is "Virtual",
"Private" and “Network".
Start from first word
"Virtual" which means imaginary or
artificial that puts the light on something that doesn’t physically exists.
Second word is "Private" which means anything not public and linked
to only limited boundary. Similarly third word is "Network" which
means a couple or more devices or objects connected via medium diagram below

Collectively all three
words make a sense that artificial limited connection between some objects or
in computer technology it’s not false to say some computers connected over a
network that is private virtually. So VPN give the Definition that a private
network that not available to public and kept under a line of private work.
Organizations big or
small implement VPN or Virtual Private Networks to keep secrecy and internal
standards. Most of individuals also seek for free private internet access just
